What is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Walk & Talk Therapy combines the depth of traditional therapy with the calming, regulating effect of gentle movement. Instead of sitting indoors, we walk side-by-side at a comfortable pace, letting nature, fresh air, and rhythm support the work we’re doing together.

This approach is grounding, low-pressure, and especially helpful for anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, or anyone who feels more open and clear while moving. You can expect the same warm, relational, trauma-informed care — just in a more spacious, embodied setting.

Walk & Talk sessions offer a softer, more natural way to process, reflect, and breathe as we explore what’s happening in your inner world while your body stays gently in motion.

  • We’ll check the forecast beforehand. If it’s too hot, cold, rainy, or unsafe, we’ll simply switch to an indoor or virtual session. No stress and no cancellation fees — flexibility is built in.

  • Not at all. We walk at your pace — slow, steady, and comfortable. This isn’t a workout; it’s therapy with gentle movement layered in.

  • Where do we walk?

  • Anything comfortable. Sneakers, layers, and weather-friendly clothing are perfect. No need to prepare or dress up — just come as you are.

  • We choose quieter, open routes, and we naturally pause or soften our conversation when others pass by. Your privacy always comes first.

  • Absolutely. We can take breaks, rest on benches, or slow down anytime. Your comfort guides the session.

  • Totally fine. You can switch between Walk & Talk, indoor sessions, and virtual sessions whenever you need. This space is meant to be flexible.

  • Yes — you receive the same depth, support, skills, and trauma-informed approach. Walk & Talk simply adds grounding movement to help you regulate and reflect more naturally.
